Mission Statement

Chaminade College Preparatory School, an independent, Catholic Day and Resident school, sponsored by the Marianist Province of the United States, is dedicated to cultivating the inherent gifts, skills and talents of young men in Grades 6 through 12 so that they are prepared for success in college and life.

Science Department Mission Statement:

The mission of the Science Department is to give to each student an understanding of the nature of science as a direct result of observation and experimentation. This is accomplished through exposure to a variety of courses using a lab-oriented format that help our students incorporate their faith into their understanding of science. A consistent effort is made to incorporate the theoretical aspects of the discipline with real life experiences of the student. The Science Department reflects Chaminade Marianist values by cultivating a community of faith in God and an increase sense of the wonder in the world.
